TMC Neighborhood Guide: Coffee EDit

Explore our neighborhood favorites (most within a mile, but no more than 2 miles of The McKinley Club).

Some mornings, the right cup of coffee can set the tone for everything that follows. Fortunately, you won't have to go far to find one worth savoring. The cafés near our office are gems, hidden inside plant nurseries, tucked into art galleries, and living in warm corner spaces that invite you to slow down, even when the day is telling you not to.

☕️ our coffee edit:

Aftermarket

📍 1301 Grand Ave #6

A brutalist-themed coffee shop and local art gallery tucked into the Grand Ave arts corridor — right next door to Bacanora. It's genuinely hidden and looks unassuming from the outside, which makes it feel like a find. The space showcases work from local Phoenix artists and designers, all available for purchase alongside your cortado. Open daily 8 AM–3 PM.

Matilda’s All Day Cafe

📍 822 N 6th Ave

A stunner of a neighborhood café — think honeycomb lattes, a killer breakfast sandwich and beautiful outdoor lawn seating. This spot is also great for lunch, or dinner and drinks on the weekend. Closed Mon–Tue.

Lola Coffee

📍 1001 N 3rd Ave #6

A neighborhood staple with a warm, living-room feel. Great lattes, custom breakfast burritos, and in-house baked goods. Open 7 days, 6:30 AM–6 PM — the latest hours of any coffee shop on the list.

Caffio Espresso Bar * inside pueblo

📍 1025 Grand Ave

An espresso bar tucked inside a gorgeous indoor plant nursery. Think jungle vibes, a light mist in the air, and exceptional lattes. One of the more unusual and memorable coffee experiences in Phoenix.
